Moving from how it feels, not how it looks

That’s the shift that changed everything for me, when I encountered yoga 10 years ago. My yoga teaching practice is nourished by my experience both as a dancer and as a somatic bodyworker: I invite my students to deepen their exploration of the feeling of the body, with a strong focus on anatomy and playful flows. My aim as a yoga teacher is to guide students to develop a different approach to their body then the one they arrive to class with: through an exploration of movement, breath, and introspective exploration, they get to tune in and find new resources for their life on and off the mat.

What and how I teach —

Discovering new ways to move on and off the mat

One of the pillars of my teaching and of my personal practice is the somatic exploration of how it feels like to move, as well and searching for new ways to navigate the challenges that we encounter on and off our mats. In my classes, I explore the asana practice as a bridge to the mind, moving through clear sequencing that builds both physical strength and mental resilience. I like to mix creative flows with introspective cueing, building a feeling for the bones, joints, skin, and creating space for new explorations of the self.
By discovering new possibilities of movement, we can deepen the experience we have of our body, our mind and our life. Yoga philosophy and pranayama practices are always a part of my classes, and I like to invite my students to tap into their needs and sensations to get to know their own limits and boundaries.

Feeling the body from the inside instead of only approaching from how it looks like is the shift that changed everything for me, when I encountered yoga as a dance-obsessed 17 years old. Today, my yoga practice is fueled by everything I love: softness with oneself, challenge, and playfulness.
